Kayla is a mother, military spouse and Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern providing therapy for adults, couples and families. Kayla specializes in working with millennial women who are feeling depressed, anxious and overwhelmed with pregnancy and motherhood. Kayla has completed advanced training in perinatal mood disorders through Postpartum Support International. In addition, Kayla is Level 2 trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Some of her best work surrounds helping individuals and couples through family conflict, relationship issues, parenting, self identity, mood disorders, postpartum depression and anxiety, and life transitions.
Kayla also holds several years of experience providing therapy and case management services to military personnel, first responders and healthcare professionals struggling with mental health issues and substance use.
In her free time she enjoys being by the water, traveling, and spending time with her family.
